OIL-IN-WATER MONITORS
The Sigrist OilGuard operates on the proven UV fluorescence measuring principle. Aromatic hydrocarbons possess the ability to emit visible light when radiated with UV light. This makes it possible to detect oil-in-water in the low ppm range even if the water is very turbid.
The non-contact type flow cell uses a falling stream method of measurement. This greatly reduces maintenance as the oil does not come into contact with the glass optics.

DUST MONITORS
Sigrist dust monitors have been applied for over 30 years for measuring dust concentration in production processes or in the ambient air to ensure good working conditions and minimize air pollution.The Sigrist StackGuard continuous emissions monitor for particulate matter (PM CEMS) is an extractive type instrument that can measure extremely low particulate on both wet and dry exhaust stacks.The Sigrist VisGuard is used in the workplace to monitor dust concentration. It is also widely applied in road and train tunnels as a visibility monitor or as an early warning of fire.

ABSORPTION SENSORS
Sigrist’s Absorption Sensors provide valuable information in the ultra-violet or visible region at one or more wavelengths. This allows the user to determine the concentration of substances such as metallic ions or organic compounds in liquids or gasses or the colour of liquids.

The Sigrist Model “RAMS†simultaneously measures reflection and absorption of the liquid at 4 different wavelengths as it flows through the pipe. This makes it possible to determine the color and turbidity of the product or to distinguish one product from the other.

Klotz Particle Counters are used world-wide in the pharmaceutical, electronic, oil/gas, water treatment and other industries. These particle counters count the number and size of particles in liquids and gasses and sort the particles into user defined particle size categories.
